Not so Merry

What is it about this season that is causing such a politically-correct kerfuffle? Wal-Mart is tacking left by saying “Merry Christmas” again, instead of “Happy Holidays”. The Seattle Airport has had to reject a nativity scene, but will keep the Christmas trees. Madame Justice Marion Cohen had a Christmas Tree removed from the 311 Jarvis Street Courthouse in Toronto because it was offensive to those people that didn’t celebrate the Christmas holiday. At our firm, we sent out Happy Holidays cards as we wanted to toast more than just any one calendar. And those blast holiday emails go into the spam filters in any event.

If the Courts don’t want to acknowledge Christmas (and the Christian calendar in general), why don’t they hear cases on Good Friday?
