More Colangelo Accolades

Norma Wick grabbed an interesting comment from Dallas Maverick star Dirk Nowitzki on the Raptors’ first round draft choice:

“Perennial MVP candidate Dirk Nowitzki, who set the standard by which Europeans like Andrea Bargnani are now measured, said of the Raptors rookie, ‘He’s a better player than when I was 19 or 20. He’s going to be a heck of a player. He’s a little more athletic than I was back then. He can drive a little better than me.’”

Perhaps Dirk wants to buck up a fellow Continential grad, but the compliment is just another reminder of how well things are going under the new guy.
