NSFW if you love cars
You’ve probably heard of those “not safe for work” (“NSFW”) videos. Here’s one that’s “not suitable for car lovers”.
An Enzo hitting a concrete wall. Here’s the video.
400 made around the world (401 if you include the one made for the Ferrari museum). Two have now been wrecked by California guys.
Hmmm.
Maybe its the special exhaust system upgrades required on all cars imported into the Great State of California. This Enzo belonged to a movie producer who lent it to his stars for a charity race – to promote an upcoming movie. The wreck happened while they were, wait for it, practicing for the race. Guess they’ll now have to take US$1.2 million off the billboard ad buy of this blockbuster movie.
The owner was there while it happened:
“Its really too bad. ‘Cause I liked that car alot,” was his response when asked how he felt that his irreplaceable car was now missing its front end.
Hmmm. That’s either the understatement of the week, or else it’s his attempt to fein surprise at the intentional smash-up, knowing it (and the movie associated with it) would get far more play and “free media” than any promo on Entertainment Tonight.
