The Columbian index is up 1,300% since 2001, according to a report on CNBC. Remember when we all had foreign mutual funds? And got whacked in the Russian ruble crisis? Or was it the Asian Flu? And ditched these funds when they were down? (Except my wife, who doesn’t trade anything unless her broker calls half a dozen times in a row.)
