“Clarus Securities lost three bankers. Russ Stanley, Special Situations Research Analyst joined Jennings Capital. Dave Donato, Vice President, Investment Banking and Mark Knapp, Biotech Research Analyst, have not yet joined other firms.

Former Jennings Capital, Senior Managing Director, Investment Banking, Doug Pocock has left the company.

Equity Research Associates Paul Gorman (Biotech) and Michael Enright (Media) have both left Westwind Partners. Paul is joining National Bank Financial and Michael will be jumping to the Hedge Fund market.

Casey Baker has left MGI Securities as their Head Trader. At the same time, MGI hired Brendan O’Connoll as a Managing Director, Investment Banking for their Calgary office. Brendan was at Raymond James.

Paul Patterson is joining Raymond James as a liability trader. Paul was at CanaccordAdams.

Caroline Escott has left RBC DS to join BMO Nesbitt Burns as Vice President, Canadian Equities Specialist in their Investment Strategies Group.

Loretta Carbonelli will be joining Evergreen Capital Partners as VP Operations and Chief Compliance Officer. She was formerly at M Partners.

Murtaza Hussein, investment banking analyst, metals and mining at BMO, has left to pursue a private equity opportunity in Dubai.
