Richard Scott leads Tarheel tourney after day 2

This news just in: one of Wellington Financial’s two Canadian golf professionals, Richard Scott, is leading the Tarheel Tour Championship at Walnut Creek Country Club in Goldsboro, North Carolina. Richard shot a 63 on day one, and followed up yesterday with 16 pars and two birdies to stay ahead by one stroke after day two.

A 9-under par 63 out of the gate is a great feat. This is the first professional tournament that Richard has led for two consecutive days since turning pro last winter. Wellington Financial is one of his long term corporate sponsors.
