Richard Scott off to Q-school 2nd round
When you are a professional golfer, some rounds can be almost mechanical. Par 4s go something like this: driver, iron, hopefully putt for birdie, if the 1st putt misses – make the par and go on to the next hole.
Yesterday, Canadian professional Richard Scott had 13 pars on his way to a +1 73 and a berth in the second Qualifying Stage at the PGA Q-School. There were moments of excitement, with a double and an eagle, but all-in-all he did what he had to do to come 15th for the week, when the top 26 and ties would be moving on.
Congrats, Richard, from all of us. We are proud to be on your team.
