“Who knew BMO Capital Markets’ David Fleck was 65!? Well if he isn’t, he is retiring anyway. Mike Miller, who was Co-Head of Equities is now Head of all Equity Products. Paul Campbell becomes Director of Canadian Equity Research, Jamsheed Mehta is Head of Domestic Sales and John Shannon remains Head of Trading.
Sera Kim has left Raymond James to join GMP Securities as their new Hardware Tech Analyst, replacing Ray Sharma who left for more family time.
Non-Bank Financials Analyst, Steve Boland has left CIBC World Markets to also joining GMP Securities.
Robert Wilson is leaving his post as Managing Director, Investment Banking at Research Capital to join Chinese manufacturing company, Asia Bio-Chem Group, as Executive Vice President and Director based in Toronto.
In addition to the announcement of Rick Byers moving to Borealis Infrastructure (BB Jan 11), Borealis also hired Public Finance Analyst Paul Calder from Standard & Poor’s.
Bert Clark is joining Scotia Capital’s Infrastructure & Government Finance Group as a Managing Director. Clark was previously a Senior Vice-President at Infrastructure Ontario.
