WF sponsors Mississauga Canadian Tour stop

Wellington Financial was pleased to be a sponsor of this weekend’s Jane Rogers Championship of Mississauga at Lakeview Golf Course. The only GTA stop on the Canadian Tour. Both of our professional golfers, Richard Scott and Danny King, made the cut. Here is some coverage from the Toronto Sun.

Richard built on two 5th place finishes in July to earn his best finish so far this year with a 4th place showing! For those of us who’d like to break 90 some day, Richard’s 65 on Saturday was fantastic. Today’s 67 was spoiled by a double on par 5 #16. Danny hit a bad patch yesterday and wasn’t able to dig himself out in this morning’s 4th round.

Congrats to Elliott and the organizing team for a great few days. We were proud to join Samsung, Chaps Ralph Lauren, CI Investments, AMJ Campbell, Novotel, Aquafina, and many other corporate sponsors. All funds raised go to the cancer clinic at the Trillium Hospital in Mississauga, Ontario.
