How does one pull off a "Twitter Intervention"?
If you don’t read his blog, bought his book, or follow his Twitters, where have you been? Andy Nulman is very funny, particularly when he’s white hot about something. Tonight’s topic is the fans he has to share a concert with. My only problem is we don’t know whose playing. That’s the challenge with Twitter: more emotion than facts at times:
more beer and chips for the fat loud people.

We all know that he’s just blowing off steam. But what if a friend is about to, you know, really lose it via Twitter? How do you invoke an Intervention?

Oy! Sorry I was so graphic…at a Fleetwood Mac concert yet. Twitter can be digital alcohol, ‘though last night it was a peace-keeping device, ‘cuz if I wasn’t Tweeting, I would’ve lost it on the row behind me. Can understand this type of behavior at a heavy-metal bar show, but not really at an old-school arena event. And the excuse “Well, I paid for my ticket and I can do what I want!” (their rationale for drowning out the on-stage sound) doesn’t hold water. That’s like saying “Well, I paid for this car and I can drive the wrong way down the highway if I want.” Anyway, sorry for the profanity. That’s SO not me 😉
If Andy was in Montreal and these were posted last night, my guess is this was Fleetwod Mac. Know why? ‘Cause I experienced the very same thing at the ACC last week for the same artist.
Keep it up Andy.
