Southwest Airlines has a culture that works
As you go about building your business, think about culture. At all times. And how empowerment of the team can fit into that culture.
To think that Southwest Airlines (LUV:NYSE) can be as big and regulated as it is, and still have employees who feel comfortable rapping a safety review over the P.A. system. (There had been just 14,639 views of this video when I first saw it; just wait until the DTM links it up.)
Southwest’s culture is something to try to emulate, however that might be appropriately done, as you grow and nourish your own business.

The guy has talent but if you heard this three times in two days, like I once did with the West Jet “Marry one of us and fly for free” song, you’d go running back to a mainstream airline pretty quickly.
