Danny King to represent Ontario in VIA Rail Canada Cup Final

While some of us will never know what it feels like to “jug” a 7 iron 158 yards to tie up a tournament, we can at least be proud of Ontario’s Danny King. He did exactly that earlier today in the VIA Rail Canada Cup Final in Montreal. Danny will have the honour of representing Ontario tomorrow in the final, along with playing partner Jerry Hinds.

The VIA Canada Cup is a four ball (two man) match play tournament comprised of 32 Canadian PGA Professionals in each division from Ontario and Quebec. Ontario professionals face each other on one side of the bracket while Quebec professionals face one another on the other side. In the end the top Ontario team takes on the top Quebec team to determine the overall winner.
