Desjardins Group has announced the following Senior Management appointments:

Christiane Bergevin as Executive Vice-President, Strategic Partnerships. Christiane was Senior Vice-President and General Manager, Corporate Projects at SNC-Lavalin Group

Richard Nadeau as Managing Director and Vice-Chairman, Desjardins Securities. Most recently Richard was Senior Vice-President of TMX Group

Raymond James hired Jeremy Rakusin from Banc of America Merrill Lynch to Head their Mergers & Acquisitions team.

Banc of America Merrill Lynch has hired Brad Cameron as Head of Mergers & Acquisitions from RBC Dominion Securities where he was Senior Managing Director.

Thomas Weisel Partners has announced the following appointments:

Nick Pocrnic will be joining the Sales Desk as Managing Director, Institutional Sales. He was previously the Company’s Head of Canadian Capital Markets

Rob Magwood will be assuming the role of Director, Canadian Capital Markets

Matt O’Keefe has joined Cormark Securities as a Mining Analyst. Most recently, Matt was an Analyst at Thomas Weisel Partners.

CIBC has hired Alex Kodatsky as a Mining Analyst. Previously Alex was at UBS Securities Canada.

Canaccord Capital has hired Energy Investment Banker Ron MacMicken away from Cormark Securities.

Blackmont Capital has announced the hiring of Thomas Jarmai as Head of the Investment Banking team. Most recently Thomas was Managing Director, Investment Banking at Desjardins Securities.

Huron Capital Partners is expanding their office to Toronto and have announced the addition of Jeremy Busch as a Principal to their Private Equity firm. Jeremy joins from TorQuest Partners.

Antoine Bisson-McLernon joined PSP Investment as Director, Private Equity. Previously, Antoine was at National Bank Financial as an Associate, Investment Banking.”
