Invesco Trimark has announced hires of Michael Hatcher and Jeff Feng as Vice Presidents to its Trimark Global Equities Team. Previously, both Michael and Jeff were at Burgundy Asset Management.
Thys Terblanche will be joining CIBC in Toronto as Managing Director, Mining, Investment Banking. Most recently, Thys was the Global Head, Mining & Metals at Standard Bank based in London.
In an internal CIBC move, David Cobbold, currently Managing Director, Equity Capital Markets will also be joining the Mining, Investment Banking Team.
Gluskin Sheff & Associates has hired David Vankka as Vice President, Risk Management. Previously, David was at Tristone Capital as Managing Director, Institutional Sales & Trading.
Canaccord Adams has hired David Chapman as Director to their Institutional Sales Team. Most recently, David was Managing Director, Institutional Equities at CIBC.

The international arm of RBC Wealth Management has appointed Matthew Yong as President and Frank Mu as Chief Executive Officer of its Asian operations (RBC Wealth Management, Asia).
