Hunger Strike – Day 12
Let’s face facts, dear readers. We have to give the folks at 444 Front Street the benefit of the doubt. They are now too occupied with the violent G20 protests to deal with the Blogging Hunger Strike. What’s going on in Toronto is a big story, and facing up to the transgressions of the past few years (see prior post “Hunger Strike – Day One” June 16-10) pales in comparison to the importance of what’s going on in Toronto right now.
Let’s give them until Wednesday, ok? I’ll come up with a Plan B by then to get their attention, and it doesn’t involve dressing up in black and smashing in the windows of a ScotiaBank branch on Yonge Street. Our household owns BNS shares, after all!

(disclosure – The Toronto Star’s legendary photographer Boris Spremo once took a shot of me photographing an exhibit at Toronto’s Harbourfront. It ran in a Sunday Star edition around 1979. He was definitely one of my heroes: “Me Boris, take good picture of you”.)
